Baishakhi Ghosh is a versatile vocalist, educator, and co-founder of Tanpura Music School. With academic training in music and creative industry management, and hands-on experience in both performance and teaching, she brings a thoughtful, nurturing approach to her work—especially in Bengali music and children’s music education.
She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Rabindra Sangeet from Jagannath University, Dhaka, which laid the foundation for her deep connection with Bengali music and its traditions.
Baishakhi specializes in Rabindra Sangeet, Nazrul Sangeet, folk music, and Bengali modern songs, creating a space where students not only learn to sing but also connect with their language, identity, and emotions. She leads many of the school’s children’s courses, using music to encourage self-expression, imagination, and cultural pride in young learners.
Together, Apurba and Baishakhi form the heart of Tanpura Music School—dedicated to preserving tradition, inspiring creativity, and building a vibrant musical community in Berlin.
