Founder & Director
Apurba Biswas is the Director and Educator of Tanpura Music School, Berlin. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Indian Classical Music from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata, a renowned institution for performing arts.
With a strong academic background and deep-rooted training in Indian classical music, he is dedicated to guiding students through disciplined, culturally authentic, and emotionally rich musical learning. Through Tanpura Music School, he supports students in Germany and internationally in connecting with classical music in a structured and meaningful way.
Tanpura Music School – Policy

Lessons & Attendance
- Each student receives four lessons per month (one per week).
- Regular attendance is important for steady progress.
- If you cannot attend a class, please inform us at least 24 hours in advance.
- Missed classes without prior notice cannot be rescheduled or refunded.
