Apurba Lal Biswas

Apurba Biswas is a trained vocalist and passionate educator with a deep-rooted background in Hindustani classical music. Originally from Bangladesh, he has completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s in Indian Classical Vocal Music, and has been teaching music in Berlin for several years. Apurba combines the traditional guru-shishya approach with modern, student-friendly methods to make music accessible and meaningful for all age groups.

As the founder of Tanpura Music School, Berlin, he brings not only musical expertise but also a strong vision of cultural preservation, community building, and artistic expression. He teaches vocal music, harmonium, and oversees the school’s curriculum and event planning. His warm and encouraging teaching style has helped many students find their voice and deepen their love for music. Beyond technical training, Apurba emphasizes the spiritual dimension of music, guiding students to experience its power as a path to inner harmony, mindfulness, and emotional expression. He believes that music is not only an art but also a form of wellness, nurturing balance, reducing stress, and enriching everyday life.
